In 2021, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, over 47 million Americans voluntarily quit their jobs. Spurred by the onset of the Pandemic, it has been partially the catalyst for what has been deemed "the Great Resignation". Although the courtesies' of the Pandemic placed a pause in the workplace, we also recognized that people began to re-think their purpose in life.
Changes were brewing in the labor force and many employers were suffering because of the new mindset. In 2022, there were 5 million new business applications. At least 47% of new businesses have been started by women. The call to entrepreneurship is still on the rise and NCC clearly envisions that this new mindset is a great opportunity to help small businesses succeed in their endeavors.
